Phone
Cash Money Transfer Inc is serious about
protecting your privacy. This
Code of Privacy describes how Phone Cash Money Transfer Inc. (“Phone
Cash”, “we”, “us” and “our”) collects, uses and discloses your personal
information. “Personal
Information” is information about an identifiable individual, as more
particularly defined or limited under applicable Canadian Privacy
Legislations. This Code of
Privacy explains our views and practices concerning the collecting,
using, securing and sharing of our consumer (“you” and “your”). Our Private Policy is based on the
Canadian Standards Association Model Code as set out in Canada’s
Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act
(PIPEDA). This Code of Privacy
does not apply to our employees or to information that is not personal
information.
What
Information do we Collect
We
collect personal information when you ask us to cash a cheque, rent a
mailbox, obtain a Pay Day Loan, make a Bill Payment, do a foreign
exchange transaction, make a Money Order or Money Transfer, receive
money, open a Corporation or a sole proprietorship/partnership
company. The personal
information that Phone Cash collects might include names, addresses,
phone numbers, e-mails addresses, dates of
birth, driver’s license information, social insurance number,
education, occupation and employment history.
How we use

or programs that you participate in (for example, Western Union or Vigo) are provided jointly with other third party
business partners, and certain personal information may be disclosed to
these third party businesses for the purpose of administering the
service or program.

information may be used by phone and disclosed to parties connected
with the contemplated or actual financing , securitization, insuring,
sale, assignment or other disposal of all or part of our business or
assets for purposes related to the evaluation and performance of these
transactions, including:

determine whether to proceed with the transaction, and

Fulfilling reporting, inspection or audit
requirements or obligations to such parties.
Successors and assigns of
Phone Cash and/or its business may use and disclose your personal information for similar
purposes as described in this Code of Privacy.

Regulatory, etc.: Phone Cash may
disclose your personal information as necessary to meet legal,
regulatory, insurance, audit, and security requirements, and as
otherwise without your consent or as permitted or required by law. This may include lawful requirements
to disclose personal information to government authorities in Canada.
Phone
Cash audits its procedures and security measures regularly to ensure
that they are being properly administered and that they remain
effective and appropriate.
Your choices
By
providing us with personal information, you give us your consent to the
collection, use and disclosure of such information for the purposes
described in this Code of Privacy, if applicable, or otherwise at the
time of collection of your personal information.
You
may withdraw your consent to our collection, use and disclosure of
personal information at any time, subject to contractual and legal
restrictions and reasonable notice.
Note that if you withdraw your consent to certain uses of your
personal information, we may no longer be able to provide certain of
our products and services. Note
also that where we have provided or are providing services to you, your
consent will be valid for so long as necessary to fulfill the purposes
described in this Code of Privacy or otherwise at the time of
collection, and you may not be permitted to withdraw consent to certain
necessary uses and disclosures (for example, but not limited to,
maintaining reasonable business and transaction records, disclosures to
Canadian government entities as required to comply with laws, and
reporting on credit information after credit has been granted, if
applicable).

may also be required or permitted under statute or regulation to
collect, use or disclose personal information without your consent, for
example to comply with a court order, to comply with local or federal
regulations or a legally permitted inquiry by a government agency, or
to collect a debt owed to us.

have the right to verify the personal information that we have in our
possession. You have also a
right, subject to the law enforcements restrictions, to know which
third parties have received your information from Phone Cash.
How do we
protect your information
Phone
Cash Money Transfer Inc. will protect your information with appropriate
safeguards and security measures against loss or theft, as well as
unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Our employees will have access to
your personal information in order to fulfill their job requirements.
Phone
Cash has retention policies that say that we maintain information about
you for a fixed time period. If
you do not do any transaction with us within this time period, your
information will be then destroyed.
When
information is provided to a legal enquiry, Phone Cash ensures that the
orders are valid and discloses only the information that is legally
required.
All
employees of Phone Cash Money Transfer Inc. are familiar with the
procedures that must be taken to safeguard customer information. Protecting the confidentiality of the
clients’ information is more than a procedure – it is part of our
jobs. Personal Information
Protection is specified in our employment agreements and is documented.
Changes
Phone
Cash reserves the right to modify this Code of Privacy from time to
time, without notice. We urge
you to review this Code of Privacy frequently to obtain the current
version. Your continued
provision of personal information or use of our services following any
changes to this Code of Privacy constitutes your acceptance of any such
changes.
